Once you have created a new, updated signature from the old one, you can go back to Mail > Preferences > Signatures to delete the old one (if desired), rename the new one (if desired) and assign the new signature to the appropriate accounts. This makes the app significantly easier to use if you need to update an existing signature or create another signature only slightly different from an existing one. ![]() Version 1.7.6 adds a key feature for me: the ability to start with an existing signature to create a new one.
